A place where Country, West Coast, and Line Dance can come together for a night of fun and dance!
COUNTRY SWING LESSONS & WEST COAST SWING BEGINNER. Choose between a beginner or an intermediate class. We join the levels from 8:30-9pm to do guided practice… dancing to short songs practicing (1) what you just learned, and then (2) with specific focuses or drills.
West coast swing is a smooth slotted style swing dance that is characterized by smooth stretch and flow along with musical improvisation. It’s roots are in Lindy Hop and Charleston- but has evolved to be danced to many contemporary music genres. Its basics include- the sugar push, left side pass, underarm pass, whip, inside rolls, and tuck turns.
